- Understand the barriers faced by debt advice clients with English as a second language in accessing advice and support
- Examine how our own attitudes might play a role in our work
- Identify the skills and techniques required for effective communication
- Discuss the use of language in debt advice client interviews and how to adjust this to support full engagement
- Consider the practical aspects of working with debt advice clients through interpreters
